Content for Columbia Gorge Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries

Tasting room photos, product shots, and short-form video that make people want to drive out and visit — shot by someone who actually lives in the Gorge.

The Columbia River Gorge has some of the best wine, beer, and spirits in the Pacific Northwest — but most tasting rooms are still using phone photos from three seasons ago.

I'm Eric Palmer, a White Salmon-based photographer and videographer with a BFA in Photography and an insider's view of the Gorge from Hood River to Underwood Mountain. I shoot tasting rooms, bottle and can photography, harvest and production stories, and short vertical videos built for Instagram and TikTok — all on-site, with fast turnaround, because I'm local and I'm already here.

I also work as a flight attendant for Horizon Air, which means I travel constantly across the West Coast and beyond. If your brand ever wants content beyond the Gorge — at a festival, a distribution event, a sister location — I can get there without the day-rate travel costs most photographers charge.

WHAT I SHOOT

Tasting Room & Venue Photography: Interior and exterior shots that capture the actual experience of visiting — light, atmosphere, the view, the crowd on a Friday evening. Built for your website, Google Business Profile, and press kit.

Product & Bottle Photography Clean, consistent product shots for labels, menus, e-commerce, and distributor decks. Studio-style or styled on location with your tasting room as the backdrop.

Lifestyle & Harvest Storytelling Crush, brew day, barrel rooms, vineyard rows in every season — the behind-the-scenes content that makes a brand feel real instead of staged.

Short-Form Video (Reels & TikTok) 9:16 vertical video edited for social: pour shots, ambiance, staff spotlights, event recaps. Delivered ready to post.

Event Coverage: Release parties, live music nights, harvest festivals — documented for recap content and next year's promotion.

WHY WORK WITH A LOCAL

I'm five minutes away, not three hours. No travel fees, no scheduling around a photographer's drive time from Portland. I can shoot golden hour tonight and have a gallery for you by morning.

I know what sells the Gorge. Wine country versus river versus mountain backdrop, peak bloom versus peak fall color — I know the calendar because I live the calendar.

Photo and video from one person, one invoice. You don't need to hire two vendors and coordinate two schedules. I shoot both on the same visit.

A trained eye, not just a nice camera. BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with several years of paid work across portrait, product, and editorial-style assignments.
